National Cancer Survivor’s Day

June 3, 2018 marks this years National Cancer Survivors Day. A survivor is anyone that has been diagnosed, treated, or has otherwise history who has persevered. On this day, we celebrate the triumphs and life of those we love, admire, and cherish. The physical, financial, and mental trials that cancer puts us through can become overwhelming for those fighting as well as their loved ones who share this journey through life. We cherish the life of our loved ones and strive for moments of laughter, love, and peace.

For some, the battle never ends. On National Cancer Survivors Day, not only do our communities come together to celebrate life, but to also bring attention to the necessity of further research to find better, tolerable treatments, resources, more-efficient screenings, preventative measures, and a cure!

Check with your local hospitals, cancer treatment centers or American Cancer Society office to find an event near you this weekend. Inspire those who are newly diagnosed by attending an event. Show them that We Stand Together and No One Fights Alone! We will persevere as a community together in spirit, thoughts and prayers.
